Face sleeping

If you can't quite see how red his face is, tilt your screen.  Here is what 25 minutes of face sleeping looks like. I checked 2-3 times on him during his nap and this is how it ended. Bad baby, giving your parents such anxiety!

This is what keeps me up nights!

I read about it again...SIDS is still on the radar for 12 months with tummy sleeping a problem factor. Last night was a record for rolling him back over...again and again and AGAIN! Then I drag him in with me so I can keep track of him, the little stinker.

First experiments in self-feeding

We learned he really LOVES salmon and this self-feeding business is going to be a nightmare to clean up after.

He had been twiddling with the cupboard for some time before I had the camera...really going at it! He will definitely keep us on our toes, no doubt.

Baby proofing, new year organizing

Today we sorted through 8 months of baby wardrobe and put them in their proper sizes, thank god the pace has slowed a bit!

Wally's dining area has moved up to the counter for most of the day now, after we recently retrieved a morsel from Rowan's mouth. He looks thrilled.

Teething like a mad man

 

These top teeth have been visible under the gums for a few days now, with one barely breaking the surface. He is loving the teething biscuits...which I am mostly giving him right before his bath now, for obvious reasons!
