We just had our last appointment with his east coast pediatrician. He's at 17 lb 10oz (97th%) and 25.75" (90th %) He got 3 vaccines today with oddly little complaint so far today, not sure why. He still has his nice round head and is sleeping often 7 hours in a row lately! We then went to an appointment with Dr. Zino for me and had a little post delivery reunion. We made it just in time finishing our journey with her. She's decided to move on and be closer to family and today was literally her last day in the office. I wouldn't even know where to begin describing my love and gratitude towards her. He doesn't know it yet, but she's kind of like his beacon that brought him from a little seed of hope to existence as a perfect little baby boy.

He fell asleep on the subway to our location and we could barely revive him the rest of the photo shoot!! The photographer was great but rowan was either sleepy or grumpy (from us trying to wake him) almost the whole time....until we were finished and we were heading home when he was all smiles. We have several "newborn syle" photos..sound asleep.

Anyone else have 30 year old shoes?

Doug and I got ice cream afterwards and Rowan was looking longingly so we just gave him a dab on the lips..

He liked it.

9 month torso with 2 month legs! Hard to dress for the family photo.

Doug says it the Nordic heritage..cold weather people adapted that where as equator folks have long limbs..ask the expert Doug why, he's a wealth of information :)
